Canada at the WSSD Canadian Delegation

Prime Minister Jean Chrétien led Canada's delegation to the World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD). He was supported by Environment Minister David Anderson, International Cooperation Minister Susan Whelan and Secretary of State (Latin America and Africa) (Francophonie) Denis Paradis.

The Canadian Delegation to the WSSD was also comprised of federal governmental officials, as well as representatives from provinces and territories, the Aboriginal community (First Nations, Inuit and Metis), development and environmental non-governmental agencies, youth, local organizations and the business community.
